Pastor Jake Nelson

Jake and Sydney Nelson grew up, met and got married in northern Wisconsin. From there, they moved to Bemidji where Jake attended Oak Hills Christian College.

During their time in Bemidji, they have been blessed with two sons, Gideon, 2, and Edmund, 7 months.

After Jake graduated from college with his degree in pastoral ministry and Biblical studies, he was called to Akeley to serve as the pastor of White Oak Bible Chapel.

The Nelson family is very excited to be serving the Lord and bringing glory to His name as they begin their ministry at White Oak.

Come and welcome Pastor Jake and his family to the church and community with an open house at the parsonage July 24 from 2 to 4:30. Everyone is welcome.
